New York Giants vs Carolina Panthers Live Stream: Watch Online NFL 2013 Football Week 3 (Start Time, TV Info)

New York Giants vs Carolina Panthers takes place on Sunday in week 3 of the NFL 2013 regular season, with both teams still looking for their first win of the new season having lost their respective opening two weeks of games. The game will kick off at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream (details below).

The Giants have had a hugely disappointing start to the new season, losing both their opening encounters. On the bright side their offense has looked reasonable, and their losses have come against two very good teams in the Dallas Cowboys and the Denver Broncos. However, one of their main concerns will be their extremely leaky defense.

Over their opening two games the Giants have conceded 77 points. That would make it hard for even the best offenses in the league to grind wins out from, and that has been the case so far with the Giants.

Even though they scored 31 points in week 1, and neared the mid-20 point range in week 2, they still managed to lose both games. Against the Cowboys they fell just short in a 31-36 opening day loss on the road. Last week they were neck and neck with Denver for much of the early game, however, they fell away sharply in the second half, conceding 14 points in the third quarter, and 17 more in the fourth. That allowed the Broncos to leave New York having piled on a massive 41 points.

Amazingly despite losing both their opening two games, the Giants are currently ranked number 1 in the NFL in pass offense, recording an average of 390.5 yards on the pass each game. Their rush has been almost non-existent, however, with just 36.5 yards per game. But that said, it's not the offense that the Giants will be most concerned about, and it's their defense that coaches will have been working on extensively through the past week.

Today their opposition, on paper, should be much weaker than either the Cowboys and the Broncos. The Panthers have also lost their opening two games, 7-12 against Seattle in week 1, and 23-24 on the road to Buffalo in week 2.

Unlike the Broncos and Cowboys, the Panthers' pass offense is very weak, and they have secured just 151 yards per game through the first two weeks of the season. They have been better in rush, but still, scoring just 15 points per game will not be enough for most games, and likely not enough against a strong offensive unit such as the Giants.
