New York Jets vs Tennessee Titans Live Stream Free: Watch Online Monday Night Football

New York Jets vs Tennessee Titans is the NFL Monday Night Football game tonight, and with both teams almost with nothing to play for it could be a very tame affair. However, that said, the Jets do technically have a chance to make the playoffs still, although that it is an extremely thin chance. The game is scheduled to start at 8.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The Titans' season ended weeks ago and they come into this game with a record of 4-9 and with only next season to build towards. Chris Johnson has been one of the only shining lights in their gloomy season, making 1,037 yards for four touchdowns with an average of 4.7 yards per carry.

Meanwhile the Jets are 6-7 and have an outside chance of making the postseason. They have been blowing hot and cold all season long and have not been anywhere near consistent enough to make any sort of firm argument that they deserve to be in the playoffs.

Saying that, the Jets have been on a knife-edge of elimination for the past few weeks but have won two straight games this month to cling on to their postseason hopes. After being dismantled by the New England Patriots 49-19 at the end of November they have bounced back to claim a tight 7-6 win against the Arizona Cardinals, as well as beating the Jacksonville Jaguars 17-10 last week. It must be said those two teams are not exactly the high flyers in the NFL this season though.

However, looking ahead for the Jets if they can beat another poor opposition tonight, they would need to best the San Diego Chargers next week and take down the Buffalo Bills in the final week of the regular season to win out and give themselves the maximum chance of stealing a playoff spot.

Even if they do manage to do that it might not be enough, but looking at their schedule it is certainly possible for the Jets to close out the season with five straight wins.

The Jets until are relying heavily on their rush offense; ranking 13th in the NFL with 119.1 rush yards per game. In comparison they are ranking just 28th in the league with 186.8 pass yards on average per game.

Unlike most other teams, the Jets are not excelling at either, meaning their total yards per game is averaging at a lowly 305.9 yards per game – enough to rank them 30th in the NFL. At just 18.8 points per game and ranking 26th in the league for points scored, it is amazing they are still in with a shout for the postseason.
