Nicole Scherzinger Held at Gunpoint: X-Factor Judge Caught by Mexico Gang

Brian Friedman, choreographer to X-Factor judge, Nicole Scherzinger has reported to Star magazine that he and The Pussycat Dolls star had been held at gunpoint while traveling to shoot her new video “Try With Me.”

During a recent trip to Mexico, the choreographer claimed that they were traveling in a black SUV when stopped by a local gang on the road.

Friedman reported to Star, “We were held at gunpoint…there were M16s and Berettas!”

Star has not disclosed this information on its website but reports state the information will be found in the upcoming edition of the magazine.

Few details have been revealed, but Friedman and Scherzinger were released unharmed.

Scherzinger was recently invited, alongside Simon Bowman, Earl Carpenter, John Owen-Jones and Ramin Karimloo, to perform at the Royal Variety Performance in a tribute celebrating it as the longest running show on Broadway.

The X-Factor judge also made news after she cried during the elimination of Rachel Crow, the 13-year-old X-Factor competitor. The decision came after a deadlock was produced from the judges, giving America the chance to vote.

After last night’s semi-final round, Melanie Amaro, Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene were all voted to continue on to the final round and compete for the $5 million prize.
