'Orange is the New Black' Season 2 Trailer Reveals New Character and Return of Alex Vause (VIDEO)

"Orange Is The New Black" Season 2 released its first trailer last week, and the drama seems to be at an all time high as the Netflix hit show has fans clamoring for its June 6 return.

"The highly-anticipated second season of Netflix's ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK goes back behind bars for another sentence with the fearless, funny and unforgettable inmates of Litchfield prison," reads the show's description on YouTube.

One of the show's biggest question marks was concerning Laura Prepon's character Alex Vause. Vause is rumored to be getting more air time this season than was previously thought after it was announced Prepon was leaving due to her belief in Scientology. She was initially said to only be in four episodes after playing an integral part of season one.

"Yeah, the funny thing is that it was a scheduling thing that happened with another project, and Jenji and I were like, cool, we're going to work it out so Alex can be in as many as possible. The storyline that happened is going to be awesome and shocking and rad and fans are going to be really happy," she said to Wetpaint.

Other rumors suggest main character, Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), will no longer be the main focus of the show. IBTimes reported that season two will be more of an ensemble cast, with all characters getting featured.

One other spoiler concerned Jason Bigg's character, Larry. Larry is Piper's fiance and their relationship has really been tested because of the prison sentence and some infidelity issues behind the scenes.

"Everything on that show is functioning at two levels at all times," actress Natasha Lyonne, who plays Nicky, said to IBTimes. "There's a real underbelly of suffering and pain. We're people in prison who have this albatross of regret of making, at some point, a terrible decision that led us to be there ... And Netflix feels like mavericks, there's not restrictions and walls, they really just want to make the best thing possible."
