A global strategy that has been worked on and developed for the last two years will be fully unpacked this fall to thousands of small groups at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif.

The P.E.A.C.E. Plan, a “Purpose-driven-Missions” Global plan started by mega-church pastor Rich Warren, is a massive outreach effort led by small groups to fight the five major global evil giants of today – spiritual blindness (emptiness), corrupt leadership, poverty, disease, and ignorance (illiteracy) – through the strategies and means of church planting, servant-leaders equipping, assisting the poor, caring for the sick and educating the next generation, respectively.

“This is why God made me,” says Warren, according to Purpose Driven ministries. “Everything else I have done was simply preparation for the PEACE Plan.”

Unlike previous fall events, the fall 2005 PEACE Launch will not be opened to other churches fully yet but only to the Pilot Churches of this briefing. Invited senior pastors and influential leaders such as church mission leaders and small group leaders will come together as Pilot Churches in Saddleback Church in Lake Forest California on Sept. 20 – Sept. 23 to discuss and test out the unveiled PEACE Plan to develop all the best tools for small group training. The same participants will gather again later this year and in early 2006 to discuss and share the program’s progress and effects, before the PEACE PLAN is launched and fully revealed to the world in the fall of 2006.

The program for the four-day PEACE Pilot Briefing will include a PEACE Overview and Vision Explanation, PEACE Implications (How PEACE would affect each church), PEACE Application Training Sessions and Final words Presentation and Panel Discussion.
