Prince Harry Picture in Vegas Scandal; A Timeline Of Controversies (PHOTO)

Prince Henry of Wales, more commonly known as Prince Harry, is no stranger to scandals, but newly leaked nude photos of the 27-year-old in his hotel room could become his most embarrassing controversy yet.

Photographs of the Prince gallivanting without clothes were reportedly taken during a game of strip billiards with a room full of friends in his Las Vegas hotel suite, although it is still unclear whether he was aware that they were being snapped.

Prince Harry, second son of Charles, Prince of Wales and the late Diana, Princess of Wales, has undoubtedly upset and caused embarrassment upon the British monarchy. His latest shenanigan, the nude photo scandal, follows a string of controversies stemming from 2002.

The once-innocent fourth grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, is now considered somewhat of a rebel in contrast with his older brother Prince William.

In 2002, Prince Harry- playfully referred to as "the naughty one" by his late mother- stunned the world when he admitted to illegal drug use and underage drinking.

After admitting that he had smoked marijuana- the first of many public embarrassments to come for the Royals- Prince Harry was forced into a drug rehab center by his father Charles, where he interacted with patients as a punishment.

Two years later in 2004, Prince Harry, who is also third in line to the throne, was photographed getting into a drunken brawl with a photographer outside of a London nightclub. While the photographer maintained that the Prince was unprovoked in lashing out at him, a Royal spokesman claimed that Prince Harry was actually the victim.

"Prince Harry was hit in the face by a camera when photographers crowded around him as he was getting into a car," a royal spokesman said. "In pushing the camera away, it's understood that a photographer's lip was cut."

The following year, Prince Harry sparked public outrage after he was photographed at a fancy dress party smoking and drinking while wearing a Nazi Afrika Korps uniform complete with red swastika armband.

After causing an uproar particularly among Britain's Jewish community, Prince Harry was forced to offer a public apology.

"I am very sorry if I caused any offense or embarrassment to anyone. It was a poor choice of costume and I apologize," a statement released by the Clarence House Press office read.

In 2006, Prince Harry was accused of racism after joining the army. He had used derogatory language in referring to Ahmed Raza Khan, a high-achieving young captain in the Pakistani army. He later apologized directly to Khan.

Four years later in 2010, Prince Harry was criticized for alleged animal cruelty while playing in a polo match. Although his horse suffered a bloody injury after being stabbed in the flank by his spurs, he continued riding it even though blood was visible on its body.

The Royal family has not yet spoken out regarding Prince Harry's recent nude picture scandal.
