Punk'd Returns With Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber will appear alongside other stars, in MTV's new debut of its past hit show, "Punk'd." While some regret that executive producer Ashton Kutcher will no longer host, others look forward to seeing more Bieber.

"Punk'd" first debuted on MTV over 10 years ago, with a 20-something Ashton Kutcher. The celebrity prank show which has the tendency of catching some of Hollywood's best in more compromising positions, will now continue its reign with celebs like Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus taking over Kutcher's reign. The first episode will also include Hayden Panettiere, Dax Shepard, Lucy Hale, Nick Cannon and Heather Morris attempting to prank their fellow stars.

In the hot seat are Liam Hemsworth, Khloe Kardashian, Taylor Swift, Dianna Agron, Ron Artest, Lauren Conrad, Zac Efron, Ian Harding, Chloe Moretz, Emma Roberts, Vanessa Hudgens and Jersey Shore's now pregnant Snooki.

MTV gave the show's new release a positive review. "The celebrity hosts take "Punk'd" to a whole new level this season, with more complex, hilarious and fun pranks than ever before. For the first time in the series' history, the curtain will be pulled back, giving viewers an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes to pull off these elaborate pranks."

The show will debut Monday, March 19 on MTV. "What better way to ring in the New Year than to let our audience know that Ashton and MTV are bringing back Punk'd in a big way," Van Toffler, President of MTVN Music Group, LOGO and Film, said in a statement.

"There's a new generation of unsuspecting suckers just waiting to be Punk'd by their famous friends, and fans will once again have a front row seat to see the shock on the faces of their favorite celebs."

Renewing the show has received mix reviews from some. "OMFG Justin Bieber is hosting it. It gonna be fun. I can't wait luv luv him," BeiberFever wrote on the Just Jared blog wall.

"I liked it with Ashton's reaction/commentary about the Punk'D. I'm not sure about the celebs hosting their Punk'D, but this show is better than many of the things out today," Yaya added.

"That's dumb they should just let Ashton host it I'd rather see Bieber get punked," GGlover128 suggested.
