PutGodFirst Partners With Global Aid Network to Minister the Gospel

Rev. Mary Newell Morton, the developer of Christian website PutGodFirst, is forming a partnership with the Global Aid Network to help minister the Gospel.

Morton’s website runs a special program called Partner Mall, in which PutGodFirst formed partnerships with retailers like Best Buy, JC Penny and Bloomingdales.

By advertising the retailers through the website, Morton is able to generate commission every time a sale is made for specific merchants through Partner Mall that she uses to fund various ministries.

Her main mission is to "help support folks who are engaged and engaging in ministry,” said Morton to The Christian Post.

For the months of November and December, Morton chose to direct that assistance towards GAIN, an organization that ministers to the physical and spiritual needs of others from a true Christian perspective.

“I believe they are a worthwhile organizations and I appreciate what they do,” she said.

GAIN currently works to provide aid to people in the Horn of Africa and Haiti that consists of lifesaving food, medical supplies, water filters, blankets and clothing.

Morton will contribute 40 percent of all commission generated through Partner Mall to GAIN.

She will also use the commission money to fund a free electronic magazine that should be released soon.

The Partner Mall program is made possible through affiliate relationships formed with the website and various merchants.

“I’m excited because the nature of the way affiliate programs work is you have to be approved,” Morton said to CP

In other words, retailers need to inspect the website and then approve of the work it is doing to form a relationship for programs, such as Partner Mall.

This excites Morton, because retailers have approved her website that promotes the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a Christian worldview.

“I’m not hiding who I am and what I’m doing,” she said.
