The internet world has been set into a frenzy by reports that Rihanna and Drake are back together after the pair was spotted at a Miami nightclub over the weekend.

According to insiders familiar with the two, the one-time couple was dancing all night on the dance floor as they attended a party at the Liv nightclub.

The pair was described as getting "hot and heavy" as they were dancing with each other. The insider also explained that, "Rihanna was all over Drake this weekend…They were holding hands and dancing all close on the dance," according to Us Magazine.

The two are familiar with one another as they had a brief relationship a few years back and some fans are perhaps eager to see the two rekindle the flame.

Back in 2010, Rihanna, who was 23 at the time, told a radio station that a romance that was rumored to be going on between her and Drake was real, but that it was not as serious as it was made out to be.

"We weren't really sure what it was," Rihanna explained adding that it was just bad timing. "I definitely was attracted to Drake, but I think it is what it is, like what it was."

This was just after she suffered the assault from Chris Brown.

"We didn't want to take it any further," she added. "It was a really fragile time in my life, so I just didn't want to get too serious with anything or anyone at that time."

Drake was quick to quell any rumors about the couple's reconciliation stating that he is open to getting back with her when asked, but left the possibility of getting back together for the future.

"I don't know…It's always love [between us] though. We're all young and we're all busy. That's like, that's talk for a few years from now," according to Us magazine.
