Rihanna's Apology to Media Includes Plenty of Excuses

After a weeklong tour with 250 members of the press aboard a Delta 777, Rihanna has issued an apology for her antics. According to at least one member of the media, the singer kept them waiting for long amounts of time, without food or sunlight.

"Guess what, we made it! This has been an experience that I will never ever forget. I barely slept. My sleeping was all done on this plane," Rihanna told the press aboard the plane. "I want to thank everyone for making this trip the [explicative]."

Media were not impressed with the singer's lack of availability during the "Unapologetic" tour, which saw her perform seven shows in seven countries in seven days. Yet Rihanna was relatively pleased with the way the tour went and barely acknowledged the conditions she kept her passengers in.

"I was glad I did this, absolutely. Tonight is the night everything we did this week goes off. I know you guys barely got any dirt, but I had to be good. I still sound like [explicative]. It's impossible to spend time with everybody, and I'm sorry I didn't. But this was excellent and I would definitely do it again," she explained.

To top it all off, Rihanna kept an entire audience in New York waiting for more than two hours at her final stop. Fans were not thrilled but were used to the singer's antics, especially given the weeklong tour's reporting.

Given everything that happened, though, Rihanna said she would do it all over again, but with a few changes.

"I would do this next time with more people, more cities, and sit back the fans more. I had to preserve my health. Normally, I'd be back here popping bottles with y'all … I had to preserve my voice. I was worried about my body more than partying on the plane, so I had to just sleep whenever I could. I hope you guys [the press] had as much fun as I did," she said.
