Rihanna's 'Man Crush' Mychal Kendricks Publicly Shares Feelings for Singer

Mychal Kendricks, the Philadelphia Eagles linebacker, is in New York City where Rihanna resides and is publicly attempting to reach out to the singer.

Rihanna, the 25-year-old Barbadian pop star, took to Twitter to take part in a popular Twitter meme known as "Man Crush Mondays" earlier this year. Rihanna decided to name Kendricks, 23, as her man crush previously, prompting the Eagles player to get some extra media attention.

Kendricks recently appeared on BET's 106 & Park where he named Rihanna his "Woman Crush Wednesday" while shyly propositioning her on national television.

"Hi Rih, how you doing? I'm here," Kendricks said on the show. "I don't even know what to say."

The football player admitted that while he is interested, the pair have yet to be in contact. He admitted that some of his teammates were poking fun at him about the matter.

"Some of the guys told me about it," Kendricks told CSNPhilly.com. "They were busting my chops a little."

After breaking things off with on-and-off again boyfriend Brown last May, it seems Rihanna has been enjoying the single life. However, she did reportedly give some relationship advice to a fan last year.

When one fan asked the popular singer for relationship advice in a private Twitter message, he shared her response for the world to see.

"Hey Rih, I hope it's not a bad time to message. Just been down lately and wondering if you had any words of encouragement. Trust issues with men," @Jamar84's original message to Rihanna reads.

Rihanna surprised her fan with her compassionate response.

"Anytime I have trust issues, I often assume that it has a lot to do with myself. Most of the time it's difficult to differentiate. Intuition and insecurities," she responded. "But no one ever wants to wait to figure it out. Whatever we do, we don't want to feel stupid!"
