Robert Pattinson & FKA Twigs Breakup Rumors: Actor Calls Off Engagement

British actor Robert Pattinson is reportedly single once more after breaking up with FKA Twigs.

The Sun claimed that the "Twilight" star called off his engagement with the "Good to Love" singer after their relationship turned sour over the last few months.

A source reportedly told the British tabloid that while the couple used to be inseparable during the first two years of being together, they started to drift apart in recent months since they began to spend less time with each other.

Pattinson is currently busy filming an upcoming comedy period movie called "Damsel" together with Mia Wasikowska, then he will start working on another film called "High Life" which will be released sometime in 2018.

FKA Twigs, on the other hand, is currently working on her second album in London.

"Rob is tired of it, has called off their engagement and told friends they have split. With so much history between them, though, there are still strong feelings there," the source also said. "It's a difficult situation but things have become tough between them for some time and they both know they were no longer working as a couple."

Speculations about the couple's separation were first ignited when the singer, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, was reportedly spotted without her engagement ring last August when she appeared at designer Christopher Kane's show during the London Fashion Week.

A source also told E! News at that time that the couple's relationship had already cooled off.

"He is technically still with FKA Twigs, but it doesn't seem like it will last," the source said. "They were serious at one point, but not anymore. The whole thing with Rob saying they are 'kind of engaged' speaks for itself. The relationship has been fizzling out."

Reps from both Pattinson and Twigs' camps have yet to react to the rumors about the end of their relationship.
