Robin Thicke and Paula Patton Divorce: Singer Waving the White Flag?
After a major flop for his seventh studio album Paula, singer-songwriter Robin Thicke abandoned hope in winning back his marriage with actress Paula Patton, and according to recent rumors the two are now allegedly heading for divorce.
TMZ reported that the couple was officially putting up their 3,158-square-foot L.A. mansion for sale for a price close to $3 million. Sources have also said that there is an ongoing paperwork to settle the separation of their assets and finances.
In 2011, Billboard.com asked the 37-year-old artist in an interview about his pre-nup plans, but Thicke was confident that he wouldn't need one.

"I definitely didn't need one, cause my wife earned more than half of everything that I have, but I do believe in some relationships aren't equal financial relationships," he explained. "It's hard to think now, if I met someone new that I would be able to go into the relationship without that and I'm a romantic and wouldn't plan on marrying someone that I didn't plan on being with forever or wanted her to have half of everything I have including my heart and my soul."
"I think it's up to the individual. I don't think I ever would," he added.
Earlier this year, both Robin and Paula released a statement confirming their separation from marriage of eight years.
"We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time," they said in a statement released through People magazine.
Their relationship troubles are rumored to have started in 2013 when Thicke was linked to a cheating scandal after a photo of him snuggling a woman in a Paris nightclub was published.
Robin Thicke and Paula Patton were actually teenage sweethearts back in 1991. They were married in 2005 and had a son, Julian Fuego.
