Sanctus Real Continues String of Success

Popular Christian rock band Sanctus Real has continued its string of hits with its fifth No. 1 song "Don't Give Up" and its second No. 1 from its critically-acclaimed and fan-favorite album The Face of Love.

"'Don't Give Up' really connects with people of all ages and backgrounds that are struggling with relationships, jobs and just the pursuit of everyday life," said Sanctus Real front man Matt Hammitt. "The song was inspired by close friends of ours that made difficult decisions to end their marriages. I'm not here to judge those decisions, but as a band we want to be a voice for lasting love and commitment in a world where breaking vows is as common as taking them."

Sanctus Real will be playing all three of their hits from The Face of Love, as well as fan favorites spanning their three national studio releases, as the band continues their headline "The Face of Love" tour featuring NEEDTOBREATHE and This Beautiful Republic.

"We are excited to bring our fans a great show," said Hammitt. "We're going to give them our best."

The tour launched last month before a packed audience during GMA Music Week in Nashville and featured special guests Jon Foreman (Switchfoot frontman) and Future of Forestry. The tour continues to travel to venues across the Southeast and Midwest.

Aside from their tour, Sanctus Real is also becoming increasingly involved in charitable work. The band was recently part of an effort to send seven tons of relief supplies to Darfur as part of its ongoing involvement in African Leadership's Mocha Club.
