Sassoon Disinherits Son: Vidal Sassoon Excludes Son From $150M Fortune After Dispute (VIDEO)

Vidal Sassoon disinherited son David from his will entirely, according to reports out at the weekend.

New reports have stated that the hairstylist, who passed away in May 2012, explicitly took out son David Sassoon from the will. He reportedly wrote in the will: "My son David Sassoon and his issue are hereby disinherited and shall take nothing under this will, and for the purposes of the will, shall be deemed to have predeceased me, leaving no surviving issue."

Vidal Sassoon adopted American-born David in 1975 when he was just three years old, and the disinherited mark in the will means he will not receive a penny of the stylists estimated $150 million fortune.

David, 41, was disinherited by the millionaire along with former wives Elaine Nations, Beverly Sassoon, and Jeanette Sassoon.

In Sassoon's 2010 autobiography he wrote about son, David: "He was a robust, bright little boy with twinkling eyes and an irresistible smile, and I'll never forget him looking up at us and saying, 'Are you going to be my new mom and dad?' [But David] was also quite mischievous. At a fashion party, he stood by a window on the second floor and peed out, just missing Johnny Carson's head.

"Another time he set the bed alight while he was still in it. His brother Elan was very frightened that he could do something so dangerous and I overheard him giving his little brother some good advice: 'Next time, make sure you get out of it first!'"

It is revealed that David had a troubled childhood at times, and there are reports of carjackings, as well as reform schools featured in the autobiographical account by Vidal Sassoon.

However, the book also reveals that he had a dispute with David leading to him not speaking to him for more than 18 months. He wrote: "There's a certain point in my character where if I feel a situation is hopeless – walk away. Don't torment yourself constantly. I walked away."
