The Seattle Seahawks will come up against the Detroit Lions on Sunday with the Seahawks looking to keep the pressure on its main competitors in the NFC West. The match will start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream on the NFL Sunday Ticket (details below).

The Seahawks are 4-3 and will see victory here as essential in keeping up with San Francisco at the top of the NFC West, who are currently 5-2.

Meanwhile the Lions sit rock bottom of the NFC North with a record of 2-4. Detroit are adrift at the foot of the table, and will need victory here to even begin to crawl back some of the deficit between themselves and nearest team, the Green Bay Packers, who are 4-3.

The Seahawks have scored just 16.6 points per game on average, which is low considering their 4-3 record. They are allowing 15.1 points per game on average, which reveals a team whose season could go one way or the other in the coming month or so.

Meanwhile the Lions have racked an amazing 406.3 yards per game offensively, which is impressive considering they have only won just two games. That strong offensive yardage is thanks to the team's pass offense, which has registered 307.0 yards per game on average.

The Lions are scoring 22.2 yards per game on average, compared to conceding 25.0 points per game.

One issue the Seahawks have is that the team that shows up at home, and the team that has appeared on the road have looked hugely different. Three of their most impressive wins have come at home. But on the road they have struggled a lot, and that could open up the door for the Detroit Lions to pull off a surprise win here today.
