See Spot Rock 2005 Line Up Announced

CCM Magazine’s “Favorite Live Show of 2003” See Spot Rock is back this fall for its third annual tour. Slated to appear for the show are three-time tour veterans Pillar, Oregon-based rockers Falling Up, Dove-award winners Day of Fire, pop/punk group Stellar Kart, and Rambler Records’ newcomers The Wedding.

See Spot Rock 2005 will kick off November 4th and will run through December 17th, hitting 20 cities across North America including Dallas, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Toronto, and Omaha.

The inaugural See Spot Rock tour hit 42 cities, with many dates selling out, and was listed in Pollstar’s Top 50 Grossing Tours for that season. Combined, the first two tours have played for over 101,000 people and grossed over $1.8 million.

“Our first two tours with See Spot Rock have branded the name with literally hundreds of youth leaders and thousands of fans,” says Steve Thomas, president of Alabaster Arts and creator of See Spot Rock. “The 2005 line-up is very strong and builds on the tradition of the first two tours in delivering relevant, exciting music and is in fact the most well-rounded true rock tour of the fall.”

“We couldn’t be more pleased with See Spot Rock,” says William Morris agent Mark Guynn. “The participating bands, the numbers sold and the name recognition of the tour all speak to what a great tour this has become, one that the fans can depend on every year to put out a quality product.”
