Singer-actress Selena Gomez has been spotted at Rumble for her first workout session weeks after she broke the news about the kidney transplant she underwent over the summer.
Rumble co-founder and co-owner Noah D. Neiman revealed to People.com that Gomez "just came in and went hard" and was psyched about the energy and determination she showed during the boxing session taught by Joe Ferraro.
Neiman went on to say that Gomez is eager to do better in the coming sessions:
She said, 'No guys, I'll bring my A game next time' and I was like, 'What?! Look at you, you just had surgery.' She legit has a whole new kidney! But she was great.
Last Sept. 14, Gomez revealed in Instagram that as part of her lupus treatment, she had to undergo kidney transplant with her best friend and actress Francia Raisa as her donor.
This is the reason the singer fell silent following the successful release of the music videos for her two new singles "Bad Liar" and "Fetish."
According to a source that spoke to People.com, "She's really bounced back more quickly than everyone expected." Raisa too has been hitting the gym following the surgery.
Gomez is currently in New York City to film a ye to be titled movie by Woody Allen. She has been spotted out and about in the city with her style always a head-turner and fashion inspiration to many.
It is unclear what fans can expect from Gomez as far as new music is concerned although disc jockey and electronic dance producer Marshmello teased on Twitter that a collaborative track from the two will be released "very soon."
There is no word yet on when Gomez's new album will be out though. Either way, it looks like it won't be long before she returns to the music scene once again.
