Song of the Year: Fun Takes 2013 Grammy Award

Fun. has taken home the award for Song of the Year with "We Are Young" at the Grammy Awards 2013 on Sunday night.

While entering on the red carpet, the band admitted that they had been playing in bands for over 12 years and a part of Fun. for over five years without ever breaking through on the charts. This time, however, the band has made it big, and have been nominated for six awards Sunday night during the 2013 Grammy Awards, which aired on CBS.

"I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote the chorus to this song," lead singer Nate Ruess joked on stage while receiving the award. "This is in HD, everyone can see our faces, and we are not very young."
