Meanwhile St Louis went through the season finishing with a record of 27-6 and a record of 13-3 in the A 10 conference.

New Mexico State coach Marvin Menzies has admitted he has been looking into their opposition today and believes he has found some significant patterns about how they play, which should help him exploit their weaknesses.

Manzies has told ESPN ahead of today's game: "You can see Rick Majerus all over them, throughout the fiber of how they play. There's no question that they're playing inspired by him, and especially on the defensive end."

No doubt this means that New Mexico State will be looking to get up tight to Rick Majerus' and halt his influence on the game as much as possible.

Both of these teams know what is on the line in today's game and this winner takes all match up should be an intriguing affair.
