'Street Fighter V' News: Three Characters Set to Receive New Sporty Costumes

New DLC character also coming soon to the fighting game

Some significant downloadable content additions are set to be added very soon to "Street Fighter V," including three new costumes.

Announced just recently by the developers over on Twitter, the three characters getting the new DLC costumes are Karin, Kolin and Zangief.

Beginning with Karin's new outfit, this is one that is fitting for the franchise's resident member of the upper class. Her new costume is one inspired by the type of clothes worn by equestrians. No horses appear to be included with the attire, however.

Next up is Kolin, and her sport-themed DLC costume would not look out of place at the Winter Olympics. Kolin is depicted as a figure skater this time around, and that is undoubtedly a reference to her special abilities that involve the element of ice.

The third and final DLC costume coming soon to "Street Fighter V" is the one for Zangief, and it certainly accentuates this particular bruiser's strengths. Given that Zangief is already a wrestler, the developers did not really have to look far for inspiration when it came time to design his new DLC outfit.

All three DLC costumes will be made available to players on Oct. 24.

Notably, the new outfits are not the only things players can get on that day.

It was just a week ago that developers formally introduced fans to the final Season 2 DLC character, who was none other than Zeku.

Zeku is a bit different from the other members of the roster because he can actually change forms in the middle of a match. His V-Skill allows him to transform into either his younger self or his older form.

Zeku is an accomplished fighter too, so even without his gimmick, he is a worthy addition to the roster.

More news about Zeku, the sports-themed DLC costumes and any other additions coming to "Street Fighter V" should be made available in the near future.
