Tami Roman Publicly Apologizes To Daughter For BBW Portrayal
Tami Roman, the "Basketball Wives," recently offered her daughter a public apology after getting her involved in the reality television show.
After Roman's daughter, Lyric, appeared on a recent episode of the VH1 reality television series, she defended her hair against critics.
"… I had just gotten off a flight…had no time to get it done! Ahhhh…I had to turn that midway through," Lyric tweeted. "That hair looked a hot mess SMH. I'll get em next time LOL…OH WELL! ..My privacy & self-love is worth more than any amount of fame."

Once Roman got wind of her daughter's comments, she immediately took to Instagram to offer a public apology.
"I am SORRY for bringing you into this crazy world of mine and 'reality' TV, dragging you out of bed at the last minute to tape when you were sick as a dog...people are mean and I can handle scrutiny and hatred, but you are not built like that NOR are you deserving," Roman wrote on Instagram, while re-posting her daughter's message. "Mommy apologizes and will NEVER ask you to be involved with BBW again. You deserve an opportunity to live your life, free of me, my BS and this show. I love you!"
The reality television star may be thinking about leaving "Basketball Wives" herself.
"Do you think you'll return to next season's #BasketballWives if there is one," one fan questioned Roman on Twitter recently.
"No," she simply responded.
Roman, 43, has been vocal about not being happy with her portrayal on the show, as the woman who continually perpetuates negativity. The reality television star, entrepreneur and new "Tiny Tonight" talk show host defended herself on a recent YouTube video blog.
"I don't care about this Basketball Wives stuff and creating drama and having to just defend myself and speak up for myself week after week. I'm dealing with real stuff," said Roman, who recently lost her mother. "So if people want to continue being shady and make Tami the scapegoat… I got it. But don't try to make me the heavy week after week because y'all know what I was dealing with in my life."
