Tampa Bay Rays vs Boston Red Sox in Game 2 of their ALDS takes place on Saturday with the Red Sox looking to take a commanding lead in the best of five game series. The first pitch will take place at about 5.37 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The Red Sox proved too much for the Rays in Game 1 on Friday night, winning by a big score 12-2. The Rays had looked in good shape after taking a 2-0 lead at the top of the fourth, however, the Red Sox suddenly exploded onto the scoreboard at the bottom of the fourth, scoring five to take a commanding lead.

The Rays were clearly rattled after that and the Red Sox followed that up in the fifth inning with three more runs to make it 8-2. Four more runs at the bottom of the eighth rounded off the resounding victory for Boston to give them the lead in this AL Division Series match up.

The Red Sox will be favorites to take a 2-0 lead in the series today, having stormed to the AL East title, winning in the end by a comfortable six games. The Rays meanwhile were forced to go through a two step process just to reach this stage of the postseason.

On Monday of course they defeated the Texas Rangers 5-2 in Arlington to claim the Wild Card spot, and they followed that up on Wednesday by winning the Wild Card Game against the Cleveland Indians 4-0.

However, they came up against a brick wall on Friday against the irresistible Red Sox, who are looking more and more like probably World Series contenders this season.

In the pitching match up for Game 2, David Price (10-8, 3.33 ERA) will step up to the mound against John Lackey (10-13, 3.52 ERA).
