The Bachelor 2013 Spoilers: Final Two Contestants Announced (Results)

"The Bachelor" Sean Lowe has made a difficult decision in sending AshLee home on Monday's episode.

The former fitness model and Christian narrowed his search for the love of his life down to just two remaining women.

Monday's "Overnight Date" episode was chockfull of tears, but Lowe doled out the final two roses despite having doubts.

The show was even more full of surprises as Lowe has taken a vocal oath to remain celibate, referring to himself as a "born-again virgin."

During the first date, Lindsay and Sean visited a local market before walking on the beach and attending a special dinner together. When offered a chance to stay in the fantasy suite with "no distractions, no interruptions," Lindsay said yes and told Sean she loved him.

Next, AshLee and Sean toured a cave and swam to a secluded beach before enjoying dinner together. When presented with the Fantasy Suite invite, AshLee too said yes, but emphasized that no boundaries would be crossed.

Lastly, Sean took Catherine on a sailboat where they talked more seriously about commitment before snorkeling together. Clarifying his good intentions, Sean alleviated Catherine's hesitations about the Fantasy Suite, and the pair spent the evening together there.

The final contestants are Lindsay, 24, and Catherine, 26.

Ahead of Monday's episode, Lowe left clues as to who he would chose while speaking to People magazine about the final three contestants.

"Lindsay was sweet, supportive, an incredible girl, and we get along well together," said the bachelor. "She was someone I could picture marrying."

"AshLee has everything I'm looking for," Lowe continued. "Despite everything she went through as a child, she came out this strong, confident woman. She truly has a heart where she just wants to love a man, and I can tell she will be a wonderful mother."

Lastly, Lowe said Catherine "fits the best friend mold…"

"We have fun together, can be passionate at times and she's also very intellectual, which is an attractive quality to me," said season 17's star.

As the season winds down, pressure is mounting for Lowe to choose the right woman. Regardless of whom he chooses, the bachelor has stated that he only wants to find true love.

"I want to find my wife here more than anything, but I don't know if I have the words, I don't know if I have the courage," said Lowe, according to E! News. "I mean it kills me inside."

The season finale where Sean gets engaged is scheduled to air on ABC Monday at 8 p.m. EST.
