'The Originals' Star to Guest-Star on 'The Affair' Season 4
Phoebe Tonkin will appear in an episode of "The Affair" season 4.
"The Originals" star will play the role of Daphne, the protégé of another new character named Nan to be played by "Alias" actress Amy Irving.
The character will be most connected to Cole (Joshua Jackson), who Daphne will "guide" in his quest for answers. The "mysterious" Nan, on the other hand, bears a connection to his father.

Cole, like the other main characters in "The Affair," which include Noah (Dominic West), Alison (Ruth Wilson), and Helen (Maura Tierney), will be on a journey of self-discovery when season 4 rolls in. Per the official description by USA Network:
Every character is involved in a new relationship, forcing them each to decide if they're ready and willing to leave the past behind for good [in] a season about new beginnings, tragic ends and the ever-elusive possibility of forgiveness.
Tonkin is known for her role as the werewolf-turned-hybrid Hayley in "The Originals." Filming for the fifth and final season of The CW vampire drama recently wrapped, but Tonkin was not on the set during the last days of the production and seems to have filmed her bits much earlier so that she and her sister can go to Germany.
She made sure, however, to acknowledge the milestone, tweeting:
Sending love to my Originals family shooting their last day ever xx.
Some fans are worried that her completing the filming before the others would mean that she will bite the dust with leaks suggesting a tragic fate for the character.
The vampire drama will premiere early next year, which is expected to be around the same time "The Affair" season 4 hits the small screen so fans of Tonkin would love to know they would see her in two different worlds in 2018.
