Mowry-Hardrict previously told Essence magazine just how much she loved being on the show that allows her to spend time with her 2-year-old son Cree.

"I love this schedule. It's great for families because it's very predictable and the hours aren't that long, especially when you're working with kids you have to get in and get out," she revealed to Essence. "I'm like, 'Oh, we're done? I get to come home and be with my son?'"

The former actress from the BET scripted series "The Game" took to her personal website to announce that her pilot for the new Nick at Nite show "Instant Mom," was picked up by the network earlier this year.

"The show is about a young party girl (me! hehe) who trades in her cosmos for carpools when I marry an older man who has three kids. The pilot was so fun to film and I couldn't be more excited for you all to see it," Mowry wrote on tiaandtameraofficial.com. "I can't wait to get back to the studio and start filming the rest of the season! Sooo excited to be on TV again, yay!!"

Mowry-Hardrict's sister and fellow actress Tamera Mowry-Housley, took to her Twitter account to congratulate Tia on her renewed television show.

"Congrats to my sissy @TiaMowry for getting a pick up on season 2 of Instant Mom," Mowry-Housley tweeted.

Mowry-Hardrict previously explained how having her sister by her side as 14-year-old actresses who began their careers on the set of "Sister Sister" helped her.

"What was really great was, I'm there with my sister. That support system is right there," Mowry-Hardrict explained on "Access Hollywood." "I'm going through the same things that she's going through…the trials, the tribulations, everything."
