Surprisingly, Fox's provocative show, "Star" was not far behind with 79 percent of people saying they "Make a Special Effort to Watch." The sophomore program is in complete contrast to "This Is Us" and follows two troubled girls who grew up in the foster system and another girl raised by a celebrity as they do the unthinkable to gain fame. This program often features adult themes.

TV dramas dominated the polling list. There were no comedies among the top 20 but reality television made the list with two shows, "The Amazing Race" and "Big Brother."

The poll also asked about cable television viewing habits, which included streaming services.

In the top 10 of cable shows faith audiences would "Miss A Lot" (if the show was gone), the popular streaming service Netflix led the way with three shows in the top 10 — "Sense8," "Marvel's the Defenders," and "House of Cards."

In all three cable television questions — "Would Miss A Lot," "Make a Special Effort to Watch," and "One of My Favorites" — "Game of Thrones" ranked number one. "The Walking Dead" ranked 5th, 3rd and 2nd, respectively, and was the only other show to rank in the top five for all three categories.
