Both the book and film series have been wildly popular, especially among young adults. "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," the film, made over $702 million worldwide last year.

The fantasy book and film series have some Christians worried that it is influencing teenagers to turn to occult groups.

Steve Wohlberg, who is the speaker/director of White Horse Media and hosts "His Voice Today" on The Walk TV, told The Christian Post earlier, "The reality is that teens who are involved in mesmerizing entertainment that are saturated with occultism an making occultism look positive, there is just a lot of people who are getting lured into the real things, and that is a very dangerous trip."

The Twilight Saga Facebook page has more than 35 million likes.

Stephanie Meyer told The Los Angeles Times that she never imagined how successful the film would be when it first came out four years ago.

"[Our attitude was] we are all going to go have fun and make a vampire movie and that's it, we will walk away from it. I don't think anyone of us thought it was going to be five years of our life," she said.
