Despite the fight being built up almost as if Dillashaw is being sent out as a sheep among the wolves, he has tried to embrace the role and take everything in his stride.
"I have to embrace it. It's all over the place. Not only is he the champion, he has the longest win streak in history. I see him as the pound-for-pound best because of that winning streak," he told ESPN.
However, he also added, "Everybody has a day when they're going to lose, though. Renan Barao has one."
