'Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3' Release Date: Roster Expanded to 50 Characters (VIDEO)

Capcom's upcoming "Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3" includes several additions to its list of playable characters.

Changes to the game's core systems, combat physics and other characters will also accompanying the new release.

The release was planned as downloadable content, but the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami halted Capcom's plans. The company chose to package the DLC as a discounted, retail video game release.
