'UnREAL' Season 3 News: First Look at 'Everlasting's' Female Suitor; Official Release Date Revealed

The ladies are calling the shots when "UnReal" returns for season 3 next year.

Lifetime released the first trailer for "UnReal's" latest installment and it offers a first look at the new suitress of "Everlasting" named Serena (Caitlin FitzGerald). For the first time, the star of the pseudo-reality dating series will be a woman. "She's hot, sexy, smart ... but single," Chet (Craig Bierko) can be heard saying in the clip.

However, Serena's strong personality may also be a problem for those working behind the camera. Rachel (Shiri Appleby) and Quinn (Constance Zimmer) are back to helm "Everlasting," but it seems they are having issues with their suitress. "She's smart; we can't handle her the same way," Rachel tells her colleagues.

Debuting in February, "UnReal" season 3 finds Quinn and Rachel dealing with a new challenge in their hands as producers of the reality dating competition, "Everlasting." Major changes are about to happen, which includes the addition of a female suitor aka "suitress."

Serena arrives at the mansion in hopes of finding her Mr. Right, and is surrounded by suitors who will do anything to capture he heart. However, once the cameras are off, she will be facing off against Quinn and Rachel as they try to come up with yet another season depicting "true love" for the audience.

Earlier this year, Appleby hinted that Serena's arrival will give "UnReal" the breath of fresh air it needs. "We're so excited and looking forward to it. I think it will be great to add another strong female to the mix, someone to really battle with Quinn and Rachel," the actress told Entertainment Tonight.  "And then, put them in an environment with all of these men and see how they react."

Ahead of its season 3 release, "UnReal" has already been renewed for a fourth installment. Production for the next season is scheduled to kick off this month in Vancouver.

The third season of "UnReal" premieres Monday, Feb. 18, on Lifetime.
