Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Release Date Scheduled for Oct. 10

The Verizon Galaxy Note 3 release date is scheduled for Oct. 10.

The carrier began accepting pre-orders for the phablet this week and will ship it to customers next month. Verizon is also offering the option of bundling the Note 3 with the Galaxy Gear smartphone for $599.98 on contract.

The Note 3 will be available in black and white through Verizon. The carrier will offer the Galaxy Gear in a bigger variety of colors that includes Wild Orange, Mocha Gray and black.

The Galaxy Note 3 release date and price for AT&T was announced by the carrier last week.

The device will be available for its customers on Oct. 1 and it will cost $299 with a new two-year contract. It can also be purchased through the AT&T Next program for $35 a month.

T-Mobile announced the availability of the tablet. The Note 3 will hit the carrier on Oct. 2 and can be bought with a $199 down payment followed by 24 $21 monthly installments. T-Mobile will also offer the new Galaxy Gear smartwatch for $299. AT&T will carry the Galaxy Gear, but did not reveal any pricing or release date for it.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear last week. Spec and features on the device include improved LTE connectivity, a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, Android 4.3, JellyBean, a 13-megapixel rear camera, LED Flash, a 2-megapixel front shooter, dual camera capabilities, and a redesigned version of the S Pen.

The Galaxy Note 3 comes with 3GB RAM. Previous rumors had conflicted on how much RAM it would come with, with the most recent rumors stating Samsung was going to give it 2.5GB. It also packs either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, depending on which model a user purchases. The battery has been enhanced to a 3,200 mAh.
