Viral Breakup Letter by Scorned Woman Causes Stir

A letter penned by a love-scorned woman is sweeping the internet this week after she sent her ex on a "treasure hunt."

In a creative take on breaking up with someone, the unnamed woman left a note for her boyfriend after realizing his interest in another woman "Kelsi."

"Hey Honey," the letter posted to the image-sharing site Imgur began. "Guess who left his Facebook open on the computer and got a message from Kelsi? Yeah! You!"

The unidentified writer went on to explain a "neat game" where he was to look for his removed belongings in random locations of her picking.

"I know you like looking for things (like other girls)," she explained.

"Don't worry, I didn't break anything," the letter continued. "Actually, I was nice enough to package your things!"

Furthermore, the writer left hints of where her boyfriend's clothes, video games, laptop and other belongings were in a list that included locations of sentimental significance to their relationship.

"Your clothes are where we first met," one clue read.

"Everything else, including pictures of the last 2 years of our lives, is AT KELSI'S HOUSE," the letter said. "Happy hunting!"

Meanwhile, the funny breakup letter has been viewed more than 300,000 times after its post only days ago, and it has made waves on social media sites.

"Possibly the best break up letter ever," wrote Twitter user Tiffany. "Now that's revenge."

Matt joked, "Revenge is a dish best served in the form of a scavenger hunt, the best breakup letter ever."

However, Twitter user Stevo did not agree, posting, "Worst breakup letter I have ever seen. Woman dumps cheating boyfriend by leading him on a hunt for all his belongings she's hidden."

Moreover, one online reader at The Huffington Post wrote, "Any woman who messes with my stuff will see charges pressed against her. I encourage all men to do the same."
