Nexus 7 2 tablet press photos have surfaced on the internet this week showing off a new, colorful background on the device's display.

These pictures were posted by Android Police. They do not reveal any new information on the tablet. The wallpaper seen in the pictures is said to be the default for Android 4.3, JellyBean.

New pricing information for the Nexus 7 2 was discovered last week through a Best Buy flyer leaked by PhoneArena. It showed that the device would launch on July 30 and would cost $229. Other reports point to a July 31 release date for the slate. If this information is correct, Google will launch it just a few days after the rumored unveiling.

Rumored specifications for the device include a 7-inch LCD display with WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.2-megapixel front camera stereo speakers and a 3950mAh battery. This is one of the first Nexus 7 2 spec leaks to show the device carrying 4GB RAM.
