Wood, Bell Robbed: Newlyweds Caught Off Guard

Newly married couple Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell were robbed after their hotel room was ransacked Sunday.

The actors quietly tied the knot on Oct. 30 in California before their honeymoon last week.

Wood, 25, took to Twitter with news of the robbery.

"Dude! @1JamieBell and I just got robbed," wrote the "True Blood" star. "Found our room ransacked."

Despite the hiccup, the actress reassured her followers that she and her groom were all right.

"We are safe and have everything we need. So all is well. #da--," added Wood via Twitter.

The couple had been together for seven years ahead of last week's nuptials, and Wood's publicist revealed a few details about the ceremony.

"The bride wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera," the representative in a statement told Yahoo.com. "It was a small ceremony with close family and friends."

Ahead of the ceremony, Wood posted a vague message on Twitter.

"Words cannot describe the happiness I am feeling," she wrote. "Overwhelming."

It is the first marriage for the actors. Wood was once engaged to Marilyn Manson, but after their split in 2010, she rekindled her romance with Bell, 26.

The newlyweds first met on the set of the music video for Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" where they played lovers. Wood has a "J" tattoo on her ankle in honor of Bell's first name.

Wood is known for her role as a vampire on HBO's series "True Blood," and has appeared in films such as "Thirteen" and "The Ides of March," among others.

The actress will appear in the upcoming film "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman" alongside Shia LaBeouf, Rupert Grint, and Melissa Leo. It is scheduled for release next year.

Her new husband Bell is best known for his roles in films "Billy Elliot," "King Kong," and "Jumper."
