Xbox Live Marketplace Rolls Out Discounted Borderlands 2, FIFA 14, Bioshock Infinite and More

Microsoft in rolling out an Xbox Live Marketplace sale tomorrow beginning with a discount for Borderlands 2 as the company heads into 2014.

"Celebrate the Countdown to 2014 with of deals on games, add-ons, avatars and more from the Xbox Game Store. Sign in to the Xbox LIVE or stop back here every day to see what new deals we have for you – but remember these special discounts won't last more than a day. There will be a new deal every day between now and 2014. To kick things off, we've got the following Borderlands 2 content on sale starting tomorrow ONLY," Major Nelson posted on the Xbox blog.

Borderlands 2 will be available for 75 percent off while add-ons, Vault Hunter Upgrade 2, Headhunter 1, and Psycho Pack will be 50 percent off. Headhunter 2 will be 33 percent off while Terraria will be marked down by 67 percent.

Other games of varying discounts from 33 percent to 90 percent will include FIFA 14, Bioshock Infinite, various X-Men titles, and Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD, plus many more which can be seen here.

"I'll be posting the latest deal for each day so you won't miss a thing," posted Major Nelson.

Also available tomorrow for Borderlands 2 is, the DLC called How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day and is the third part of the Headhunter packs, which includes unlockable skins, heads, and new missions for the Xbox 360, PS3, MAC, and PC for $2.99.

How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day is a Christmas-themed DLC, where the main villain is Mr. Tinder Snowflake, a snowman. The story takes place in Gingerton, reported IGN.

Game developer Gearbox previously put out two Headhunter holiday themed DLC's, Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler (Thanksgiving), and TK Baha's Bloody Harvest (Halloween).
