Xbox One Trailer Showcases Launch Titles and Features in 'Invitation' Commercial (VIDEO)

Microsoft has released perhaps its best trailer for the Xbox One after receiving extensive criticism for previous commercials.

In the new commercial released yesterday, "Xbox One: Invitation," the central theme is simple; invite the public to give this next-gen console a shot.

The trailer features various shots from different games with the main characters waving over passerbys to enter into the Xbox One and join them.

"This is an invitation to a new generation. Where your games and entertainment are no longer separated, but together in one. This is an invitation from the all-in-one, Xbox One. Jump ahead," the video description says.

Microsoft is excited about all the progress they have been making as the pieces are coming together.

"We are seeing lots of consumer excitement for Xbox One, Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2, and the full spectrum of Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone devices," said Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.

Microsoft released its first ad on YouTube and television in early September - a football-themed commercial. In it were all the aforementioned features plus looks into how it interacts with Fantasy Football and the ability to make highlights from different games.

Microsoft came under heavy fire because the company appeared to be confused as to what the device actually is, and at the time were failing to showcase all the things that make it great in a short concise manner.

It seems Microsoft has righted the ship and knows exactly what it is looking for with consumers now.

The Xbox One will be released November 22.
