In the report, the event will be attended by Xiaomi's top executives, CEO and Founder Lei Jun, President and Co-Founder Bin Lin, and Vice President for Xiaomi Global Hugo Barra.

If this tells us something, it is that the Xiaomi event will definitely showcase some of the company's best devices and products.

Those products will certainly include the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro and the Mi Note. While there are also rumors of an Mi 5 smartphone, there are still no leaks or hints yet.

However, in terms of other consumer electronics devices, the company is reportedly working on a few including the Mi Box, Mi Box Mini, and the Mi TV.

Regarding the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, some reports speculate that the announcement in India would also pave the way for the device to be released in the international market.

For Android fans who are looking for a refresher, the Mi Note Pro boasts a massive 5.7-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 4GB of RAM, a 64-bit compatible Snapdragon 810 chipset, and a 64GB internal memory.

Other specs include a 13MP Sony-made camera with a six-element lens, a 4MP front shooter, a 3090mAh battery, and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
