Zab Judah Starts 'Team Jesus Christ' Movement on Twitter

Zab Judah, the boxer who has won five world titles between junior welterweight and welterweight divisions, has given his life to Christ and created a #TeamJESUSCHRIST movement on Twitter for other followers who are ready to do the same.

Judah attended a Christian men’s conference in Arizona, which seemed to inspire his official #TeamJESUSCHRIST hashtag. When asked how he was doing, Judah tweeted evidence that the conference was changing him.

“Out here in AZ getting filled with the HOLY GHOST," he tweeted.

The boxer officially sparked his team movement by writing "who's down with #TeamJESUSCHRIST!"

"What can you do for GOD,” Judah asked. “Because he does everything for us!!"

However, some of Judah’s followers seemed unhappy with him expressing his love for Christ. A boxing fan complained that Judah was straying too far from the topic of sports on the social network.

“I follow boxers because I love boxing,” the fan tweeted. “Imagine my shock to find Judah only talks about Jesus! Unfollowed."

Judah replied to the fan’s comments.

“Wow what else is there to talk about,” the boxer questioned. “You don't know what you're missing."

After a number of supporters tweeted that they were members of #TeamJESUSCHRIST, Judah attempted to educate those who were not.

"GOD wants to work in your life, you just have to let him in#TeamJESUSCHRIST,” he tweeted.

Some Judah fans seemed happy that the boxer had given his life to Christ.

“That's why you will always be on my boxing top 10 of all time," one fan tweeted.

Another officially followed the boxer on Twitter after learning about his beliefs.

“Didn't even know the boy @SuperJudah was a brother in the faith,” the person tweeted. “Got to follow homie now, need my spirit to be uplifted on my TL. Let's go!"

Judah revealed his reasoning behind the entire spiritual movement and why he gave his life to Christ.

“Real talk I changed because I wanna go to HEAVEN and JESUS CHRIST is the ONLY Way! #TeamJESUSCHRIST," he wrote.
