2.  World Vision

World Vision, which describes itself as “a global Christian humanitarian organization” focused on “tackling the causes of poverty and injustice,” has announced that it will match gifts given to the organization on Giving Tuesday up to $1 million.

Like the ADRA, World Vision is working to assist the victims of the two major hurricanes that caused extensive damage in Central America. A World Vision official estimated that more than two million people have been impacted by the severe flooding and heavy winds that accompanied Hurricanes Eta and Iota.

The charity also has a child sponsorship program, helps provide access to clean water, and helps those around the world living in poverty.
