National Signing Day is an annual tradition where high school senior football players announce which college they'll play for. It's a media spectacle. But what if a school celebrated the college decisions of its non-football-playing students, too?
LEAD Academy in Nashville did just that, and there was plenty to celebrate. The school had committed to sending 100% of its graduates to a four-year college, and the Class of 2014 achieved that lofty goal. If that's not inspiring enough for you, 83% of these students will the first in their families to attend college.
