Deadly Fashion Statement
The latest fashion statement these days is the symbol of death (a skull) upon designer tee shirts.
God has called us out of death and into life by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our lives should reflect his holiness in our attitudes and lifestyle. (John 5:25, Romans 13:12, 2 Peter 3:11, Eph. 5:8)
To habitually and willfully live in sin and darkness only reveals that we do not know God. (1 John 2:4-6, 1 Cor. 6:9-10)
It may seem right that we can continue to love the ways of this fallen world since Jesus died for all our sins, but the end will only be death. (Proverbs 14:12, 1 John 2:15-17, Gal. 6:7-8)
What is your fashion statement? Is it holy or is it deadly? If you life reflects unrighteousness, don't be surprise if Death is wearing a tee shirt with your face on it.

"Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to your former lusts in your ignorance: but as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." -1 Peter 1:13-16 (KJV)
"So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealously. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desire of the sinful nature." -Romans 13:12-14
