'16 & Pregnant' Star Whitney Purvis Pregnant With Second Baby Boy

"16 & Pregnant" star Whitney Purvis is expecting her second son with boyfriend Weston Gosa. The reality star confirmed the news on her Facebook page and expressed her excitement at having another child.

The couple already has one child, son Weston Jr., who is 5 years old. They allowed MTV to film the pregnancy and birth of baby Weston for "16 & Pregnant" and have actually remained together after the cameras stopped rolling. However, they have had their ups and downs, including several break-ups and a joint arrest for criminal trespassing. But things are back on track and now the focus is on family.

"We're happy but in no rush to get married," Purvis told Radar Online. "We got an apartment together in Rome! Weston is doing great, studying computer networking at Georgia Northwestern and working, too."

"I wanted a boy!" Purvis confessed. "So I'm happy. I don't think I would have been good at raising a girl 'cause I'm not a real girly-girl. I just think boys fit me better."

Purvis also admitted that she is already 18 weeks pregnant and that the new baby will have the name River Blaise.

"I've always loved the name River, and it feels right," she explained. "And I wanted a 'B' for the middle name since mine is Blake."

River will join big brother Weston, who was born with a genetic disorder that can cause liver and kidney problems. Fortunately, Weston Jr. is doing well and thriving at school. He was hoping for a baby sister, but his mother was hoping for another boy, and it looks as though she got her wish.

Purvis has the support of Weston and her mother, April, who was once arrested for possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. Purvis noted that her mother is now clean and sober and focused on her own family – she gave birth to a child at the same time as April gave birth to Weston, Jr.

Baby River is scheduled to arrive in October.
