Hip hop artist 2 Chainz is spreading his artistry over a new medium: cooking. The rapper has just released a cookbook entitled "#Meal time."
The cookbook features soul food and comfort food recipes along with instruction that are full of personality.
His humorous instructions include comments like, "Call Fergie, invite her to watch a movie on Netflix. Once she accepts, start making green beans," according to the New York Daily News.
His advice for seasoning dishes is "Keep in mind, all measurements are at the discretion of your palette. As we all know, some people have a lot of flavor, while others enjoy their food and their lifestyle a little more subtle (boring.)"
He also offered advice for what to wear in the kitchen.
"If wearing a four-finger ring, carefully place it on a side table before starting to cook." And, 2 Chainz stresses you should be careful "not to spill any on your Adidas sweatsuit."
The cookbook contains recipies for things like shrimp and grits, chicken marsala, and fried chicken and garlic mashed potatoes.
2 Chainz recently released a new album entitled, "B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time." The album title is very similar to the cookbook title, "Meal Time." There is even a recipe in the book entitled "Me Time" dipping sauce. The "Me Time" sauce is made up of mayo, dijon, barbecue sauce, lemon juice and Old Bay seasoning, according to The Los Angeles Times.
This is not the first time 2 Chainz has shared his interest in culinary arts with the public before, as he often posts pictures of meals and dishes on his Instagram account.
