The "22 Jump Street" trailer was re-released with new scenes and an even funnier ending Wednesday, exciting many for the sequel to the surprise 2012 action comedy hit. In "22 Jump Street," Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are back as police officers looking to bust drug dealers, but this time they're in college.

The "22 Jump Street" trailer was initially released several months ago, but it was re-released Wednesday with different cut scenes and a new ending. Hill returns as the nerdy, sarcastic Schmidt, while Tatum reprises his role as the fit and funny Jenko. Together, the two make a cop duo that never stops spouting memorable lines.

"We're like a power couple," Jenko says. "We're like Rihanna and Chris Brown. You're a good dancer and sometimes you're meaner than I'd like you to be."

The plot of "22 Jump Street" is fairly simple. After the success of the high school operation, Jenko and Schmidt will be infiltrating a college to find the supplier of a new drug. Of course, there are many hilarious hijinks, like Schmidt wrestling with an octopus— "it inked in my mouth!" he screams— fraternity hardcore drinking, and Jenko's horrible imitation of a Mexican gangster.

Old characters return to the sequel. Rob Riggle will again play Mr. Walters, the gym teacher that was busted in the first film, alongside Dave Franco's Eric, the ringleader of the dealers who was also imprisoned. This time Ice Cube, who played Capt. Dickson, gets more action than sitting behind a desk and yelling at two moronic cops.

"We're jump street, and we're about to jump in that a--," Dickson says, gun in hand. "Right in the crack," Schmidt adds.

The film is being directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller and was based on a story from Jonah Hill and Michael Bacall. Hill said that the sequel will be very self-aware, which can be funny if utilized correctly.

"Sequels and second missions are always worse and more expensive than first missions, so we are taking really hard shots at ourselves," he told MTV News. The idea shows through in the script as well.

"Ladies, nobody cared about the jump street reboot, but you got lucky," Deputy Chief Hardy (Nick Offerman) says. "So now this department has invested a lot of money to make sure Jump Street keeps going."

"22 Jump Street," which is based off of the 1987 television series "21 Jump Street," is slated to be released June 13, 2014.
