Here are 7 reasons to completely trust the Bible:

1) No other book so clearly reveals God's abiding love for Jews and Gentiles.

From the beginning, God chose to love the Jewish people and make them His own. And as the New Testament reveals, God's love didn't stop there. The door is also open for Gentiles to get in on this amazing promise: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

Jews and Gentiles alike are sinners in need of God's grace, and are offered the only lifeline which can connect anyone to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Only the Bible reveals this dynamic reality which is rooted in the love of God and the cross of Christ.

When it comes to books which discuss the truth about how much God loves Jews and Gentiles, there is not even a close second.

2) No other book so clearly teaches the truth concerning God's triune nature as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

You don't learn about the true nature of God apart from the Holy Book which the Holy Spirit inspired to be written. From Genesis to Revelation, the Holy Trinity worked miracle after miracle. For example, God said, "Let us make man in our image." (Genesis 1:26) Who was the "us" in that passage? Obviously, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The doctrine of the Trinity doesn't make sense to man's natural thinking. It is a supernatural doctrine describing the ultimate supernatural Being. Angels are supernatural and were created at some point, whereas God has no beginning and no end. In other words, no one created God. He is the Creator, and He is three Persons in One God.

Only one book supernaturally reveals this reality, and there is not even a close second.

3) No other book so clearly presents the Gospel message of forgiveness by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

Religious books are good at telling you how to try to be spiritual. Only the Bible tells you how to truly be forgiven. Of all the religious books in the world, only the Bible teaches the message of grace through faith in Christ. It is a life-changing message, and it goes against the grain of man's religious tendencies.

By nature, man thinks he must earn his way into heaven. If you don't think this notion is widespread, just ask 10 people why they feel they deserve to go to heaven. You will hear things like: "I have lived a pretty good life." "I am nice to others." "I go to church." "I pray." "I'm not perfect, but I think God knows how hard I try." And so on.

The Bible explains how all of our attempts at saving our soul are worthless. Only the Bible presents the divine revelation of the Gospel. There is not even a close second.

4) No other book has changed so many hearts and lives over the centuries.

Try to name one book that even comes close to doing for people what the Bible has done. What book brings people more peace? What other book gives people the real answers to why we are here on earth? What other book fills the heart with a love for God and a love for others? What other book has turned so many people away from sin and placed them on the road to righteousness? Only the Bible has this kind of power and effect. It is by far the most life-changing book on the planet.

There is not even a close second.

5) No other book provides people with the assurance of eternal salvation in paradise.

In the words of the apostle John, "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." (1 John 5:13) Most people would like to know they are going to heaven, but only one book can give you this assurance. The promises of God actually produce it within man. As you trust in what Jesus did "outside of you" on the cross, God places an assurance for heaven on the "inside of you" through faith.

Can you name one other book which gives a person such a blessed assurance? There isn't one. The Bible is far and away the only book to provide such a blessing. There is not even a close second.

6) No other book has led people to establish so many hospitals, orphanages, homeless shelters, and relief organizations.

When the Gospel message of Jesus Christ enters your soul, it changes you in beautiful ways. It brings the love of God into your heart. As you then begin to say "no" to selfish desires, the love expands in your soul in even greater ways. It doesn't make you perfect, but it does indeed turn you into a new person who wants to assist others physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

No other philosophy or religion has done what Jesus Christ has done to transform people and turn them into loving caregivers. Scripture delivers purity and power. The Bible stands head and shoulders above any other resource. And there is not even a close second.

7) No other book has the overwhelming eyewitness testimony of those who walked side by side with the Savior of the world.

The New Testament gives us the eyewitness accounts of those who walked with Jesus. The Bible can be trusted completely because it came from God, and it presents firsthand accounts of Christ's life on earth. Those men and women literally walked with the Good Shepherd. They ate with Him, and they witnessed His many miracles. And finally, after watching Him suffer crucifixion, they witnessed His resurrection from the dead.

If you are looking for a powerful book to teach you the truth about God, turn to the Bible. It will lead you in the way of righteousness and truth. You must go to Scripture if you want to learn about Jesus. The Bible is God's love letter to His people. And it clearly describes the plan and the purposes of God. Only Scripture presents this miraculous revelation. There is not even a close second.

If you have been leaning heavily upon your doubts about the Bible, isn't it time you trust God's Word? Relying upon your doubts brings restlessness. Relying upon God's promises brings peace and forgiveness.

And if you've never trusted the Bible, you don't know what you're missing. Literally.
