A female salon employee has reportedly identified the gunman as the husband of another employee.

The man was stopped by the police about half-a-mile away from the crime scene and surrendered without resistance, the authorities said. He was cooperative when officers going on the description of the shooter, stopped him nearby. The gunman reportedly told the officers he had multiple weapons in his car.

The Associated Press reported that the authorities were not sure whether the gunman shot from the side of the entrance, wounding and killing people as they were trying to run for cover, but the bodies were scattered throughout the salon.

One wounded person was found outside of the building.

The salon was busy at the time, with every hair-dressing station in operation, the authorities said.

It has not yet been released what type of weapon was used.
