Adele Nose Job Story Shouldn't Be in Headlines?

Only days after Ashley Judd came forward abashing the media for being hypercritical over appearances, yet another star has been put in the spotlight. This time around, singer and Grammy Award winner Adele, is in the hot seat.

A new report suggests that Adele has gotten a nose job. While rumors over Adele getting some kind of work done have been circling for some time, Hollywood Life recently reached out to get expert advice on the matter.

"The tip of Adele's nose is definitely more defined, which would suggest that she had a tip rhinoplasty," Beverly Hills Plastic surgeon Renato Calabria told the gossip site. "That consists of reshaping the lower cartilages of the nose by reducing their width and repositioning them with carefully placed sutures to give more definition. This can all be done trough a tiny incision at the base of the nose in a minimally invasive fashion to limit swelling and bruising."

The rumors follow only days after actress Ashley Judd called the media "nasty, gendered, and misogynistic" for drawing attention to her puffy cheeks following a promotional tour for her new show "Missing."

Much like the reports now circulating around Adele, many gossip sites rumored that Judd had gotten plastic surgery and sought out experts to point out what work she had done. Judd insisted however, that her puffy cheeks were the result of a nasty bout of the flu.

Judd released an essay to the "Daily Beast" regarding the topic because she said the issue was about much more than her, but about all women.

"The insanity has to stop, because as focused on me as it appears to have been, it is about all girls and women," she wrote in the Daily Beast.

"The assault on our body image, the hypersexualization of girls and women and subsequent degradation of our sexuality as we walk through the decades, and the general incessant objectification is what this conversation allegedly about my face is really about."

Judd rightfully predicted that once that conversation about her face had lost wind, a new person would come under similar scrutiny feeding into an endless cycle of "hurtful" rumors.
