Adrienne Bailon Reveals How 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' Hurt Her Career

Adrienne Bailon is revealing how appearing on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" while dating Rob Kardashian almost ruined her career.

Bailon, the 30-year-old entertainer and co-host of "The Real" talk show, dated Kardashian, 27, six years ago. While Bailon is in a relationship with Roc Nation's A&R Lenny Santiago, she is speaking up to Latina magazine about how being associated with the show and family were not beneficial to her career.

"To be stuck with that Kardashian label, that was so hurtful to me and to my career. I probably realized that too late— not that it would've affected my decisions in terms of who I dated, but it would've affected my decision to appear on the show," Bailon revealed to Latina. "At the time, I didn't think anyone would even care. To this day, people will still say, 'You ruined Rob's life!'"

While Bailon insisted she tried to make things work with Kardashian whose name she once tattooed on her backside, the entertainer recently got it removed.

"I have not been in a relationship with Rob for six years, and I've been with my current boyfriend, for five years. I think it's time to remove it," Bailon told Us Weekly earlier this month. "I think it's always been time, but there wasn't a procedure that I was sure would not only remove it properly but also not leave me with a worse situation than I started with."

Bailon explained why she was excited to remove the inking.

"I'm so excited, you don't understand," she told Us Weekly. "The other day I ran across some pictures of myself in a bathing suit that had Brazilian high-cut bottoms, pre-Rob tattoo, and I couldn't wait to wear those again because they looked so cute."
