'American Horror Story: Hotel' - Lady Gaga makes her acting debut

FX's smash anthology horror series "American Horror Story" will be back for an all new season with "Hotel." The series was created by the ingenious Ryan Murphy who is also behind the hit musical series "Glee." The season will revolve around a creepy old hotel and the people who live there.

Creator Ryan Murphy talked about the inspiration behind Hotel, which was a surveillance video from a hotel that showed a young woman in an elevator that was never seen again. "It is called 'Hotel,' and it's set in a hotel. We deal with a lot of American horrors, [including] addiction," he said. Murphy mentioned that the new season will be set in downtown Los Angeles.

The upcoming season has a very impressive cast lined up. Singer Lady Gaga will play Elizabeth, a very rich socialite who has a diabolical plan. Actress Sarah Paulson will play Sally, a drug addict who gets involved with Wes Bentley's character. Actress Kathy Bates will play Iris, the hotel owner who is involved with both Matt Bomber and Wes Bentley.
